Dating back to the 1930s, superheroes were widely popularized in comic books, comic strips, television, film and video games. Their extraordinary or superhuman
powers are often displayed in the fight against crime and
assorted villains.

Universal Monsters, known alternatively as the Universal Classic Monsters or Universal Studios Monsters, showcases famous characters derived from a series of horror, suspense and science fiction films released by Universal Pictures between 1913-1956.

The 1980s slasher movie genre was a subgenre of horror that featured masked killers stalking and murdering groups of people — yeah, good stuff. The genre was popular from the late 50s to the early 90s and featured some of the most devilish archtypes that are still widely poplular today.
